Chili’s is a South-western casual dining establishment in Metro Manila, originally from Greenville Avenue in Dallas. South western food is a mix of American food with a Tex mex influence. Since coming in to Manila in 1997, it has garnered a local following that has made Chili’s a go-to for South West American cuisine. They’re popular is their generous portions, bold flavors, and great service. The Filipino has welcomed Chili’s and after over 20 years, Chili’s has been synonymous to comfort food for many of us.
Another interesting thing about Chili’s is they are not afraid to innovate and mix it up, they continuously upgrade and improve their menu selections and dishes while keeping the essence of great South Western cuisine.
Now, they’re kicking off 2018 with their new limited menu selections: The Texas Two Step Menu and Tender Bites.
Crunchy Pork Tenderloin Fingers (395 PHP)– Panko crusted cider-brined Pork Tenderloin Strips with a Sweet & Spicy Slaw and Red Chili-Mango Sauce on the side.
Sweet Orange & Chili Glazed Chicken Bites (375 PHP)– Tender bites of Chicken Thigh meat tossed in an Orange-Chili Glaze with Sweet Chili-Garlic Dipping Sauce
The Orange Chili glaze topped on the fried thigh meat is addicting. The citrus tones is a great contrast to the Chili taste. It’s sweet, spicy and crisp.
Pork Belly Sliders (450 PHP) – Tender Slices of Sugar Roasted Pork Belly, topped with Sweet & Spicy Slaw, Jalapeno Aioli, on a Butter Toasted potato bun served with a side home style fries. This is our top pick for the Tender bites. The crusted pork belly has contrasting textures and different flavors that made it hard to resist.

Coriander Crusted Pork Tenderloin & Crispy Shrimp (975 PHP) – Coriander Crusted Seared Pork Tenderloin Medallions, Corn & Pepper Succotash and a Honey-Chipotle Drizzle. Toasted Rice Flour Crusted Friend Shrimp with Sweet & Spicy Slaw topped with a citrus sauce.

The Texas Two Step is perfect for those who can’t decide between Pork, Chicken, and Beef. Our favorite is the Chili Rubbed Sirloin with the Crispy Shrimp, a nice take on the traditional Surf and Turf meal with a south western flair. The Sirloin was tender and flavorful, while the shrimp was crispy and perfect with the citrus cilantro dipping sauce. While Beef is just our meat of choice, we also commend the Coriander Pork Tenderloin, perfectly pink at the center and tender it was also an unforgettable dish.
